If reflectors are pitted or mis-set, you’ll lose irradiance and see uneven heating even with a perfectly matched lamp. Also, verify voltage and tolerance at the terminal block—mismatched voltage will shorten element life. Give the emitter proper thermal clearance, and keep the heating zone free of dust and oil.
